This class is designed for intermediate to advanced sailors seeking to increase their skills through racing a J-24 sailboat.  This class meets on Wednesday evenings and competes in the Wednesday night races of the St. Joseph River Yacht Club. Students are introduced to trimming sails with a winch, tracking a course with a compass, and flying a spinnaker, all under race conditions.  Due to the size of the boat, this class is limited to a maximum of three students, offering a great opportunity to learn under close instructor supervision.  This class is open to adults and youth students at least thirteen years old.  

Prerequisite(s): 13 years old minimum, Learn to Sail, Introduction to Keelboat Sailing, SJJF Executive Director Approval, schooldirector@sjjf.org
